Nuclear pollution and retaliation.Iran wants nukes for the same reasons any other country wants them: defense. If you have nukes, people think twice about attacking you. All of the countries in the world - save one - that have nukes have never used them. The one exception is of course the USA.Iran has no reason to attack Europe. That's laugh out loud ridiculous. Iran has not, in modern times, been expansionist. Suggesting that they would, for some reason, attack another Muslim country, Saudi Arabia, is beyond any kind of rational frame of reasoning. A person suggesting such a thing would either have to be joking, or very stupid. They have, however, witnessed their neighboring sovereign country attacked for falsified reasons, and witnessed the aftermath. This alone would be enough to make most states move quickly to develop a nuclear deterrent. Which they are still a decade away from being able to attain. Go back to your Fox News Hole.?

I'm just speculating, but it seems what they're doing is merging all the small transfers that comprise a web page (HTML, images, JS and CSS), compressing that pile as one big bitstream and sending it down all at once. Sure, from a theoretical perspective this is the way to go, but it introduces programmatic complexity at either the server end, to create and sort a list of dependencies for each page. That _can_ be done with an Apache plugin, but it's certainly ugly and would invariably create security issues, since the plugin would almost certainly have to bypass Apache's internal file access, in order to achieve good compression.Then what do we do about access logs ? It is one request for the whole blob, or still individual hits for each image ? Can we pre-compress oft-leeched content ? We'll need new web proxies, which are far more commonly used than you'd think. What of all the existing IIS / ISA installations whose maintenance schedule has lapsed ?You can't "just write a plugin" and make all these growing pains go away. This is a massive undertaking and I don't think even Google has the nerves to pull it off.
